Which Burger Place Should We Go To Next?

We’ve got burgers on the brain this week, and we’re lucky enough that Lincoln has many local burger joints for us to pick from.  We narrowed it down to our top five, and we are asking the readers to pick our final destination.  Which one most intrigues you?  You’ve got only a few days to vote! Scroll to the bottom and pick one!

Honest Abe's
Honest Abe's is located at 70th and Vine Street, and it is a little hole-in-the-wall burger joint.  Seating between 15 and 25 people, the original restaurant was very small, but the restaurant has been so successful, the store outgrew its location.  Honest Abe’s just moved down the strip mall to a bigger space. With just nine different burgers on the menu, including four burgers on a rotating menu, the flavor is packed into every single one. They also feature a completely new special each week.

HF Crave
HF Crave is located at 27th and Pine Lake, in the dining strip across the street from South Pointe Pavilions.  The “HF” stands for Hollenbeck Farms, where all of the beef is raised and fed a free-range, vegetarian diet. All customers are guaranteed a burger made with local, hormone free beef.  In fact, all of the ingredients are locally made, including the buns from Le Quartier Bakery.  HF Crave is known for their stuffed burgers.  While seeming a little bit on the pricey side, your order includes a burger, fries, a side of sauce, and a drink.

Dempsey's
Just a hop, skip and a jump from UNL's city campus, Dempsey's is located at 12th Street, between P and Q.  Also serving as a bar, Dempsey's is famous for their truffle fries, a nice addition to your speciality burger.  Dempsey’s also accepts Pocket Points, an app giving students rewards for staying off their phones in class.

LeadBelly
Down in Lincoln's historic Haymarket, LeadBelly is located at 8th and Q Streets.  With diverse menu and a variety of gourmet burgers, LeadBelly is also known for their extensive beer and specialty cocktail menu.  This restaurant is good for a change of pace rather than frequenting the typical burger favorites.

Greta's Gourmet
Just south of Highway 2 and 48th Streets, Greta's Gourmet sits quietly in a small strip mall.  Greta’s offers a wide variety of deli sandwiches and six gourmet burgers that “have people waiting in line to get them.”  They feature a burger special on Friday, with a gourmet burger, kettle chips, and a drink for $8.49.
